About the company
Mandragora Circo is an argentinean theatre company formed in 2003. In 14 years of continuous work their main activity has been touring, performing in 33 countries around the world through the presentation of the work Mandragora Circus in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Since 2010 the company is doing a Permanent International Tour. First, they covered Americas, from Argentina to Alaska, performing in 18 countries. In 2015, they arrived in Europe to perform in Romania, Bosnia, Poland, France, followed by Tunisia in Africa.
In 2016 Mandragora Circus was presented in Morocco, South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.
In 2017 they performed in Ethiopia with follow up performances scheduled in Palestine and Jordan and they planned to continue the tour in Asia and Africa during this year.
About the performance
“Mandragora Circus” is a wordless theatre performance in which two clowns tell a story of comedy and love where dialogue and thoughts are understood without words.
Circus stunts, music and unconventional instruments weave the acts of this performance together to allow the audience to imagine situations, conflicts and solutions. The show is delicate, with a touch of comedy, and an attractive story which can be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
